Moniece Slaughter is an American reality T.V. star, songwriter, and actor. She is mostly known for her appearances on the hit VH1 show called “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” Slaughter was born in Los Angeles, California on March 3, 1987. Her Zodiac sign is Pisces. She was born into a musical family — most of her family members are music artists or songwriters. Slaughter was raised alongside her siblings, D.J. Thomas, who is her maternal half-brother, Drew, who is her maternal half-sister, Lauryn Slaughter, who is her paternal half-sister, and Kyle Slaughter, her paternal half-brother.

Slaughter attended El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. While in school, she discovered that she was interested in acting and the entertainment industry in general. She also began writing songs and singing them at this time. She learned about her sexuality when she was in high school but was afraid of telling it to the world fearing people would judge her. This was because she was brought up in a religious background where homosexuality was taboo. However, her family has learned to accept her and support her beliefs.

Slaughter first appeared in the first season of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” where she was known as an aspiring singer and songwriter. The first season focused mainly on her mental and emotional rollercoasters. She continued as part of the show’s cast in the second season where she got engaged to and eventually broke up with Rich Dollaz. For the third season, she uncovered her sexuality and her future plans to have a child with her girlfriend.
