Susan and Martyn Phelps have no other children. Phelps and his brother went to Little Sutton Primary School and Arthur Terry Secondary School when they were younger. The twins were schooled on set while filming the “Harry Potter” series.
The twins skipped school in 2000 to attend an open audition in Leeds, despite having no prior acting experience. They were cast as Fred and George Weasley in “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” after about six auditions.
