Tim Dillon

Background

Tim Dillon was born in Island Park, New York, on January 22, 1985. When Dillon was a kid, his parents divorced, so he was mostly raised by his mother. At school, young Dillon already showed an interest in comedy; he used to perform short comedy sketches at his school. In 1994, he pursued a career as a child actor. Dillon got a role in the famous children’s show “Sesame Street.”

Even though he got a good role, Dillon’s career as an actor never took off. After graduating from high school, Dillon attended Nassau Community College. After finishing college, Dillon worked as a New York tour guide for a while. Tired of not pursuing his passion, he returned to the entertainment world in 2010. He started performing stand-ups until he got his great breakthrough in 2016: a chance to appear at the “Just for Laughs” festival. After Dillon’s appearance at the festival, “Rolling Stone” magazine included him in the list of 10 comedians you need to know. From there, Dillon’s career started going up the hill.

In 2020, along with Luis J. Gomez and Nick Mullen, Dillon was the co-host of the show “Bastard Radio.” In 2016, the comedian started “The Tim Dillon Show,” back then called “Tim Dillon Is Going To Hell.” The show was a video podcast that aired on YouTube every Sunday. In the show, Dillon talks about funny and interesting events in his personal life, the entertainment industry, politics, and the world in general.
