Background

Nique Nique & King is one of the many young talents who shot to fame through their YouTube and other social media channels. Nique’s full name is Dominique Lamar Greene. She was born on January 13, 1999, in Texas, United States. She has a younger brother who sometimes features on her Instagram posts with her mother.

Nique is widely known as one-half of the famous YouTube vlogging couple Nique Nique & King, the other half being King, the father of her child. She started a YouTube channel called “Life As Nique” as early as September 2011 but did not post any content. In the ninth grade, she met King Johnson, and they began dating. They launched their joint channel in June 2017 with the same name, “Nique & King,” and soon became popular for their vlogs. Their first video was “Our First Q&A | How We Met.” The content includes videos about their life and relationship, more Q&A sessions, pranks, reactions, challenges, and comic videos. After rising to fame on the joint channel, Nique returned to her solo YouTube channel. She posts about fashion, hair, and makeup; her video formats include tutorials, tips and tricks, skin and hair care routines, and general lifestyle content. She often collaborates with brands as well. The first solo video she posted was “Q&A – Is BabyMomma crew getting back together?” As of April 2022, she has 1.14 million subscribers on YouTube and a fan following of over 3.4 million on Instagram. Her fans like her for her looks, sense of style, and youthfulness. Her most popular video is “My Morning Routine,” with about 2.2 million views.

In February 2018, Nique & King started another YouTube channel called “The Johnson Family” to document Nique’s pregnancy and their combined experiences as hopeful parents. She gave birth to their son, Kaiser Johnson, in September 2018. While King had already released several music videos over the past few years, they released their first music video together in February 2019, titled “Qwazylove.” Nique drew attention to her singing voice, showcased in the music video. Unfortunately, they broke up in 2020 but still co-parent their child. Nique is busy with her family life, new relationship, and growing brand.
