Shep Rose

Background

William Shepard Rose III was born in Hilton Head Island on September 27, 1980. He grew up in the area and has remained close to his Christian family. His father, William Shepard Rose, Jr., worked for the Department of Justice, while his mother, Frances, stayed home with the couple’s three children. Shep’s siblings are Katherine, an expert in foreclosure and bankruptcy law, and Whitaker, who has dedicated his life to construction litigation. Rose attended Hilton Head Preparatory School until the ninth grade, then attended boarding school at Episcopal High School. After he graduated, he went to the University of Georgia before transferring to Vanderbilt University shortly after.

As soon as he completed his Master of Business Administration, he kicked off what would become a fruitful career. He has ventured into clothing design, real estate, and the restaurant business, where he eventually found his niche. Business isn’t his only forte. His gallantry and charm guaranteed him a spot on the show that put him in the spotlight of show business. He’s been a part of “Southern Charm” since its inception in 2014. Three years later, he starred in his own series, “RelationShep,” which focused on helping him find love. The then 37 year old toured the country in search of a woman to love and settle down with before he turned 40.

After numerous relationships, he found himself in a relationship with fellow “Southern Charm” star Taylor Ann Green, who joined the cast in 2020. Sadly, the couple broke up in 2022.
