Background

American internet personality, actor, and producer Nash Grier is a celebrity who has risen to fame with his comedy videos. Born on December 28, 1997, in Greensboro, North Carolina, his mother is Elizabeth Floyd and his father is Chad Grier. He is the second oldest of four siblings, with one older brother, Will, a younger brother, Hayes, and a younger half-sister, Skylynn. He attended the Davidson Day School in Davidson, North Carolina.

Grier was propelled to fame when he opened an account on the video-sharing app Vine. He started by posting comic videos for his classmates and friends in 2013 and one of these became viral, gaining him thousands of followers in just a few months. Later that year, he joined the Meet and Greet Convention group, or Magcon for short, alongside other Vine celebrities Shawn Mendes, Cameron Dallas, and Carter Reynolds. He met his fans by participating in several events as part of Magcon. The group disbanded in 2014, and he moved to Los Angeles with his brother Hayes and friend Dallas to further his career. That same year, Grier also launched a mobile game called CashDash with his younger brother and fellow Vine stars Dallas and Reynolds. By the time Vine announced the discontinuation of its service in 2016, Grier was the second-most followed personality on the platform. His being an internet sensation earned him a spot in “Time” magazine’s list of Top 25 influential teens for 2014 and 2015. Grier also explored acting in 2015 and debuted in a leading role in the comedy-drama film “The Outfield.” This was followed by appearances in movies such as “The Deleted,” “You Get Me,” and “The Code” as well as in the “Scream” T.V. series. Grier reached major personal milestones in 2019 as he welcomed his first child, a boy, with fiancée Taylor Giavasis and released his biography “Nash: The Original Biography.” In 2022, he announced that he and his fiancee were expecting their second child.
