Background

Eric Michael Griffin was born on December 28, 1976. In 2002, Tripp Eisen showed members of the Murderdolls a project he was working on (a film of himself) jamming with Griffin and Ben Graves. Griffin consented to join the Murderdolls as the bassist, although the bass guitar was not really his favorite instrument. Since then, however, he has performed all around the world and established himself in the music industry.

Griffin had a successful career with Murderdolls, going on a world tour with them and performing in videos for the songs ‘Dead in Hollywood,’ ‘White Wedding,’ and ‘Love at First Fright.’ Since the Murderdolls took a break, Griffin has performed with a variety of other bands, including Wednesday 13 (whose real name is Joseph Michael Poole), The Dreaming, New Rising Son, Genitorturers, and Faster Pussycat. He also performed with Synical again for a tribute show.

Griffin rejoined Wednesday 13 in 2006 and spent a year touring with him. Griffin played a guitar solo on the Undercover Slut song ‘Kastration Kar Krashes’ from the album “Amerikkka Macht Frei” in the Hollywood club The Chop Shop in October 2007. In the film “Queen of the Damned,” Griffin also made a brief cameo appearance.
