Ryan John Seacrest is an American television and media personality whose talents have set him apart in this niche. He was born on December 24, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia. His mother, Constance Marie, was a homemaker, while his father, Gary Lee Seacrest, was a real estate lawyer who served in the U.S. Army. Seacrest’s interest in shows began in childhood. He attended Dunwoody High School, and at 16, won an internship at 94.1 WSTR. At WSTR, Tom Sullivan trained Seacrest. Seacrest worked the weekend overnight shift, remaining there until his high school graduation. Seacrest got admitted to the University of Georgia, where he studied journalism. He left the university and moved to Hollywood for a broadcasting career.

In 1993, Seacrest hosted the first season of ESPN’s “Radical Outdoor Challenge.” Several kids’ shows later, he began hosting “NBC Saturday Night Movie” in 2000. He hosted his debut reality T.V series in 2001 with “Ultimate Revenge.” In 2002, Seacrest became the co-host of “American Idol,” a new Fox reality T.V. series; in 2003, he became the sole host. In 2005, he was announced as the executive producer and co-host of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” which he has hosted for 15 years and counting. Seacrest signed a three-year $21 million deal with E! In 2006 but got replaced by Terrence J. in 2012. By 2009, he signed a $45 million deal with CKX to keep hosting “American Idol” and another in 2012 worth $30 million. Seacrest began hosting “Live with Kelly and Ryan” in 2017.

He’s also hosted radio shows like “American Top 40,” “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” etc. Seacrest is also a producer and has executive-produced shows like “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and its spin-offs, “Shahs of Sunset,” “Married to Jonas,” and many more via Ryan Seacrest Productions.
