Background

Frank Lopes Jr., A.K.A. Hobo Johnson, is an American singer and rapper whose talents have earned him fame. He’s a Sagittarius, born on December 22, 1994, in Sacramento, California. Johnson is of Mexican and Portuguese-American descent. At 15, he began showcasing his musical interests by rapping and performing. He graduated from high school and when he was 19, he got kicked out of his home by his father. With nowhere else to go, Johnson was forced to live in his car. This is when he nicknamed himself ‘Hobo Johnson.’ He worked a menial job but quit to pursue a career in music.

In October 2015, Johnson launched his YouTube channel to upload music-related content. That year, he released his debut album, “Hobo Johnson’s 94 Corolla.” In October 2016, he uploaded his debut video on the channel titled “Hobo Johnson — Mario & Link.” That same year, he released another album, “The Rise of Hobo Johnson.” However, in 2017 another version of this album was released. Johnson then signed with Reprise Records and merged with The LoveMakers. As a band, Hobo Johnson & The LoveMakers toured North America and Europe in 2018. The rapper then released his third album, “The Fall of Hobo Johnson,” in 2019, and by 2021, “The Revenge of Hobo Johnson” dropped.

Johnson is a talented rapper and vocalist who has five studio albums to his name. He keeps his personal life private. There’s no information about a present relationship anywhere and he shares his success with friends and family members.
