On December 20, 1994, Kevin Pouya was born in Florida. He has Cuban and Iranian ancestry. He went to Westland Hialeah High School. Speaking of his romantic relationships, the rapper is dating Instagram sensation, Young Coco. Around 2011, Pouya began taking his rapping seriously. He then released ‘Shotz From The Double Glock,’ a freestyle he performed with Florida rapper Nell. Fat Nick, a childhood friend, helped the two create the Buffet Boys, a band that subsequently developed into their record label. “Gookin,” a joint E.P. by Pouya and Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids, was released on November 20, 2013. The two became friends after Rocks relocated to Miami.

On May 5, 2014, “Stunna,” his sixth solo mixtape, was released. The mixtape has been compared to the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony group by “Elevator Mag,” which also noted that “he does a terrific job of bending their style into his version with a twist of his style tossed in there.” On March 25, 2015, he released his upcoming mixtape, “South Side Slugs.” On the “$outh $ide $uicide” E.P., which was released on September 1st, Pouya worked with $uicideboy$. Under the Buffet Boys label, he released his debut studio album “Underground Underdog” in 2016. The album peaked at number 156 on the Billboard 200.

“The South Got Something to Say,” Pouya’s third studio album, was released on June 30, 2019. City Morgue, Juicy J, and Ghostemane all made cameos on the album as special guests. “Drop Out of School 2” was created by Pouya and Fat Nick and was released in December 2020. “Blood Was Never Thick As Water,” his fourth studio album, was made available on October 22, 2021. In February 2022, he released the extended play “dirt/hurt/pain/.” It would be the last project by Pouya to be released under Buffet Boys. In March 2022, Pouya, along with other Buffet Boys members, announced that the label would be disbanding indefinitely. Later on, they announced All But 6 Records, their new label.
