Ashley Flowers

Background

Ashley Flowers was born on December 19, 1989, in South Bend, Indiana. Her father is a businessman, while her mother, Lisa Flowers, is a stay-at-home mother. Flowers is the oldest of three children; she has a brother and a sister. Flowers graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical research. She had always wanted to solve cold cases, become a detective, and play mystery games. She decided to pursue a profession in this sector when she was young. She then started working as a genetics researcher at the University of Notre Dame. Flowers later moved into software sales. She was working at a local software company, where she was inspired one day by the thought of returning to her first passion – podcast production.

Later, she and her childhood friend Brit Prawat began producing several true-crime podcast shows, starting with “Crime Junkie,” which premiered on December 17, 2017. Her podcast is also available on Spotify, which she has worked with for hosting podcasts. Flowers is the creator and COO of Audiochuck — a female-centric podcast network that streams scripted and unscripted, crime-based podcasts.

Flowers debuted on June 15, 2021, as the host of the Global podcast show “International Infamy.” She also started a podcast called “Supernaturals” on the Audiochuck podcast network that same year. Other podcasts she hosts include “Murder Monday” and “RadioNOW 100.9.” Flowers married her five-year-long boyfriend, Erik Hudak, on December 31, 2017. They are happily married and living in Indianapolis, Indiana.
