Background
Jeffery “Jeff” Wittek was born in Staten Island, New York, on December 15, 1989. Wittek attended Susan E. Wagner High School. His neighborhood was poor, so he had to implement different ways to make money to survive; one of these was to establish his barbershop. At the same time, Wittek started selling certain harmful substances. After that, he relocated to Miami, Florida, where he carried on with his illicit business. He was detained in 2011 due to the nature of his business but was later freed because of police handling errors. Wittek then moved again, this time to Los Angeles.
In 2010, he got his first taste of the spotlight and the entertainment industry. Wittek was part of the fifth season of “Bad Girls Club” as Erica’s romantic interest. A year later, he began what would become his media career. That same year Wittek created his own YouTube account with the backing of fans he gained on Tumblr, where he often uploaded photos of parties and styling work with clients such as Pauly D and Mac Miller. Wittek’s fame grew when he moved to 1600 Vine, Hollywood. This apartment building is known for hosting different celebrities on the scene.
In 2019, Wittek found the formula that would take his profession and personality to stardom. Thanks to his charisma, his excellent way of cutting hair, and an occasional celebrity to put him on the map, Wittek earned a place on the YouTube platform. Over the years, he has created a podcast apart from his main channel. Both platforms showcase Wittek’s particular sympathy and sense of humor. Since then, he has also found his place with the collective founded by David Dobrik; however, in recent years, their relationship has been tainted due to a severe accident that Wittek had while filming with Dobrik. Among the blame, denials, and claims, it seems that at the beginning of the year, Wittek said he planned to take legal action against his former friend and collaborator, Dobrik. For us, the important thing is that he fully recovered from the accident and continues giving us good times on his YouTube channel.
