While at the university, she helped establish “The Cornell Review.” In 1984, she graduated with a degree in history. In 1988, she earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was the editor of the “Michigan Law Review.”

After finishing law school, she worked as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals in Kansas. After a while, she quit her government job for a career in New York City. In her new job, she specialized in corporate law. In 1998, she appeared on T.V. many times to discuss the Bill Clinton scandal and impeachment and became a household name. In its wake, in 1998, she published her first book, “High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton,” for which she was also accused of plagiarism. She has written more than a dozen books that have sold more than three million copies. Despite being engaged many times, she is unmarried and has no children.
