Tanner Buchanan

Background

Buchanan came from a humble, Ohio-based family of Steve and Marlona Buchanan. His father is a traveling businessman, while his mother is a housewife. He was born and raised in Lima, Ohio, as a Christian and completed his early education there. Little Buchanan had always demonstrated his love for performing arts and so, when the family relocated to Los Angeles, California in 2007, one of the first things his parents did was to enroll him in the professional acting training institute, EDGE Performing Arts Center and Huckleberry Friends Production, to harness his acting talents.

The 12-year-old Buchanan auditioned for the T.V. show “Modern Family” in 2010 and got a child role. In 2013, he starred in other shows, including “Major Crimes,” “Ghost Girls,” and “The Goldbergs.” The following year, the 16-year-old Buchanan was cast in three short films — “Ellie,” “Guests,” and “Alone In the Dust.” In 2016, Buchanan established his presence in the movie industry by getting his first major role in the political drama “Designated Survivors.” He further cemented his popularity in the 2018 Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” where he acted as Robby Keane.

Despite his many features in movies and T.V. series, Buchanan still suffers an award drought and only has a Canadian International Faith & Family Film Festival Jury Prize nomination to flaunt. Nevertheless, he continues to make waves in the entertainment industry and has just been recently announced to star in “She’s All That,” a sequel to the romantic Netflix movie “He’s All That,” in which he had also starred in. Buchanan has had several affairs with his co-stars in the movie industry, but no one can say for certain who he is dating. However, his association with fellow actress Lizzie Broadway, since 2019, has continued to tickle people’s interest.
