Kappa Kaiju

Background

Kappa Kaiju entered the YouTube scene in 2014. His videos focus on the web world, and he does hilarious commentaries on different issues. This is quite unlike his description of himself as “Just your everyday edgy emo.” Before he became famous, he launched his channel using the account name BabyMeese. His first posted video was titled “When there’s no alcohol.”

Four years after launching his main channel, he made a second one. He named the channel Kappa KaiTwo. However, this auxiliary platform is not as active and has only 11 videos. This is in contrast to the 99 videos on his main channel. Initially, Kaiju would post videos rather frequently. As of 2021 — 2022 though, he has slowed down to one video a month on average. He digs into people whom he considers to be behaving like a menace. For example, one of his videos talks about preachers who mislead the public with false teachings. In other videos, he calls out the YouTuber RiceGum for faking Fortnite gameplays.

Kaiju seems to avoid clickbait in his videos, unlike a large number of YouTubers today. He sticks to the main topic, and that’s it. He also avoids sponsored content. He instead prefers to make money by selling merch on his online store. Items available for sale include laptop accessories, T-shirts, wall art, sweaters, and hoodies.
