Shay Shariatzadeh

Background

Shay Shariatzadeh comes from a highly educated family. Her mother is a surgeon, and her brother is an engineer. She attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver from 2008 to 2013, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Shariatzadeh was a product manager at Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions Company in Vancouver. Later, in 2020, she moved on to work for Sonatype, an enterprise software company.

Shariatzadeh met former wrestler John Cena in 2019 while he was working on a film titled “Playing With Fire.” They were spotted holding hands in 2019, indicating that they started dating almost immediately after meeting each other. She even attended the film’s premiere with Cena, where they made their red carpet debut. They later got married in 2020. Their ceremony was private, and Cena’s fans were shocked he had married again. Shariatzadeh and Cena held a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida, on October 12, 2020. They have been in a happy marriage ever since and have even appeared on several shows, including “The Ellen Show.”

Despite Cena’s fame as a former WWE wrestler turned actor, the couple has kept their relationship out of the spotlight. They appear together during red-carpet events and the occasional interview. Shariatzadeh is private, not having grown up or been in the limelight for most of her life. In 2019, she did an interview with Avigilon for International Women’s Day. In the interview, Shariatzadeh talked about her incredible admiration for her mother.
