Keri Lynn Hilson is an American singer, songwriter, and actress whose diverse talents have earned her recognition in Hollywood. She’s a Sagittarius, born on December 5, 1982, in Decatur, Georgia. Hilson grew up with four siblings. Her mother ran a daycare while her father served as an Army veteran. From age 12, Hilson became interested in music and wanted to pursue a music career. When she turned 14, she bagged a record deal with D’Signe, a girl group that later disbanded. She graduated from Tucker High School and attended Oxford College of Emory University, studying theater.

In Hilson’s early career, she wrote songs for Usher, Ludacris, Toni Braxton, Kelly Rowland, etcetera. In 2006, she was introduced to rapper Timbaland, who signed her to the Mosley Music Group. Under this label, Hilson featured in songs like ‘Help’ by Lloyd Banks and ‘The Way I Are’ by Timbaland, which topped charts. In March 2009, Hilson released her debut studio album, “In a Perfect World.” The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart. It was number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In December 2010, Hilson released her sophomore album, “No Boys Allowed.” The album spawned the single ‘Pretty Girl Rock.’ Hilson was only getting started in the music business, but she decided to get her feet wet in acting too. In April 2012, she made her acting debut in “Think Like a Man.” She then appeared in “Riddick” (2013) alongside Vin Diesel. By March 2016, Hilson’s third album, “L.I.A.R.,” had dropped.

Hilson is a talented musical artist and actress. She has been romantically linked to several people, including Sergei Ibaka, whom she dated for four years. Hilson reportedly married Samuel Soba in 2002. However, she dated Ricardo Lockette in 2017. Hilson is currently single.
