Jenna Lee Dewan is an American actress and dancer whose talents and gorgeous looks have earned her fame and critical acclaim. She’s a Sagittarius, born on December 3, 1980, in Hartford, Connecticut. Dewan is the daughter of Nancy Smith and Darryll Dewan. She is of German, Lebanese, Polish, and English descent. Dewan’s childhood was relatively short of stability. Before transferring to Grapevine High School in Texas, she attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Townson, Maryland. She was a cheerleader in high school and attended the University of Southern California.

Dewan’s early career features minor roles. She played Bianca Salsa Girl in “The Hot Chick” (2002), Haley in one episode of “Quintuplets” (2004), and Donna in two episodes of “The Young and the Restless” (2004) before landing her big break. However, before this, she had broken out as a dancer after appearing in Janet Jackson’s music videos and going on tour with her. In 2006, Dewan landed the lead role of Nora Clark in “Step Up.” She starred as Sasha in another dance film, “Take the Lead,” the same year, and Sally in “The Grudge 2” (2006). In 2008, she starred in the film “Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal.” In 2008, she played Alessandra in “Falling Awake” and Sarah Jane in “The Six Wives of Henry Lefay” (2009). Several films later, Dewan got cast as Janie in the N.B.C. pilot “The Playboy Club” (2011). The show got canceled after three episodes. Dewan moved on to “Witches of East End,” where she played Freya Beauchamp and Ambrose Bancroft in 23 episodes of the show. In 2015, she played Lucy Lane in 13 episodes of “Supergirl.” Dewan has been in over 40 T.V. and film productions. Her most recent is the “Superman & Lois” (2022), where she reprised her role as Lucy Lane.

Dewan is a phenomenal actress and dancer whose personal life is public. She married actor Channing Tatum in 2009, and by 2019 they were divorced. Dewan began dating Steve Kazee in 2018, and by 2020, they were engaged. She has two children, one each with both men. Dewan shares her success with friends and family.
