Andy Grammer

Background

Andrew Charles Grammer is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer whose talents paved paths for him in the music industry. He is a Sagittarius, born on December 3, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, but grew up in Chester, New York. His parents are Kathryn Willoughby and Robert Crane Grammer. Grammer is of English and German descent. He graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School and began writing songs at 15. He dropped out of Binghamton University and finally graduated from California State University, Northridge, in 2007.

Ben Singer discovered Grammer in 2009, and in April 2010, he signed with S-Curve Records. In June 2011, Grammer released his eponymous debut album, “Andy Grammer.” That month, he joined Natasha Beddingfield on her “Less is More” tour. The debut single for this album, ‘Keep Your Head Up,’ featured Rainn Wilson in the music video, and it debuted at number 94 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In March 2014, Grammer debuted the lead single for his sophomore album “Magazines or Novels.” The single was ‘Back Home,’ and in August 2014, the album dropped. In November of that year, Grammer released his biggest single to this day, ‘Honey, I’m Good.’ This song peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and became R.I.A.A. triple-platinum certified. In July 2016, Grammer released the single, ‘Fresh Eyes,’ and in June 2017, he dropped ‘Give Love.’ The singer released his third studio album, “The Good Parts,” in December 2017.

Grammer has a lot of fantastic records. His most recent release is his fourth studio album, “Naive,” which dropped in July 2019. By 2022, the singer had signed with Mushroom Publishing. Grammer is a talented singer, songwriter, and producer who creates magic. The singer keeps a tight lip when it comes to his personal life, but he married Aijia Grammer in 2012.
