Background

Lil Baby was born on December 3, 1994, in Atlanta, Georgia. His zodiac sign is Cancer. His father abandoned the family when he was two years old, leaving his mother to raise him and his two sisters. He was exposed to a variety of criminal activities throughout his life. Because many of his neighbors made a living from petty crime, Lil Baby had no choice but to follow in their footsteps. He involved himself in a life of crime and was often arrested for small crimes.

Lil Baby was never interested in academics, so he dropped out of Booker T. Washington High School in the ninth grade and became involved in drug peddling. He spent most of his early years hanging around with his friends and selling illicit substances on the street. In the late 1990s, a musical genre known as ‘gangster rap’ was at its pinnacle, and it affected practically every other youth. Lil Baby was drawn to the musical genre, which finally led him to rap. He had always loved music, but being a criminal looked better and simpler than any other vocation. He was sentenced to five years in jail for narcotics dealing.

He showed evidence of progress while in jail, and as a result, he was freed in just two years. After his release, he resolved to live a better life, and his childhood friend, Coach K, stepped up to assist him. They founded the music label Quality Control, and Lil Baby began working on his debut mixtape.
