Action Bronson

Background

Before starting his career as a rapper, which was originally simply a hobby, Action Bronson was a gourmet chef in New York City. He even had his online cooking show “Action in the Kitchen,” which he hosted. After breaking his leg in the kitchen, chef duties took a back seat, and Arslani concentrated solely on his music career.

He released his debut studio album “Dr. Lecter” through the music label Fine Fabric Delegates in 2011. Later in November of that year, Arslani released the studio album “Well-Done.” This was a collaborative effort with American hip-hop producer Statik Selektah. March 2012 marked the release of his second mixtape, titled “Blue Chips” with American record producers and songwriters Party Supplies. Arslani’s star continued to rise. In March 2013, he performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and later in the month was featured in “XXL” magazine’s 2013 Freshman Class, a list of up-and-coming rappers. May of that year saw Arslani transferred to Atlantic Records, where he released an extended play (E.P.) album titled “Saaab Stories,” in June. In May 2014, he debuted a food-focused web series titled “Fuck, That’s Delicious.” It’s a monthly web series that showcases the food-obsessed rapper’s exploration of all things culinary. The show is sponsored by Vice Records.

Apart from music, he also starred in the now-canceled comedy documentary series “Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch Ancient Aliens.” He has also had cameo roles in the films “The Irishman” (2019), where he played a coffin salesman, and “The King of Staten Island” (2020).
