Corinna Kopf

Background

Corinna Kopf was born in Palatine, Illinois, U.S., on December 1, 1995. Kopf keeps her private life under wraps and while not much is known about her parents, she had a brother who died by suicide in 2007.  That said, we do know that she is of German descent and most of her family is settled in Missouri, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Growing up, she attended a private school in Malibu and, while she was still a student, she worked as a nanny to gain some financial independence. However, she later decided to drop out of school to pursue a full-time social media career. She created an account on Instagram and began posting pictures and videos of herself. One of her most famous Instagram posts is a picture of her attending the 2014 Spring Awakening music festival. Thereafter, she created an account on Twitter where she soon garnered hundreds of thousands of followers. She conducted a poll on Twitter asking fans if they would like to see her on YouTube. Since the majority of her followers replied affirmatively, she went ahead and joined the platform.

Unbeknownst to most fans and contrary to popular belief, Kopf’s first YouTube appearance was not on David Dobrik’s vlogs. Instead, she first appeared in a video on a prank channel named “Second Class.” On her YouTube channel, she began posting storytime videos. One of her popular videos includes the storytime of a lip injection experience gone wrong. She also discusses fashion, lifestyle, and skincare. She, did, however, become even more popular when she began appearing on Dobrik’s vlogs.

In 2023, Kopf confronted trolls directly in a video about the mean and bizarre comments they were leaving on her posts. She challenged their motivations behind it asked them to consider the effect it had.
