Zoë Isabella Kravitz was born in Venice, Los Angeles, as the only child of her parents — musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet. When she was five years old, her parents divorced. She would later come to have two younger siblings from her mother’s second marriage to the actor Jason Momoa. Kravitz graduated from high school in 2007. In the same year, she started studying at the State University of New York but left in 2008 to pursue a film career in Brooklyn.
