Background

Park Chan-yeol, better known as Chanyeol, is a multi-talented South Korean act. Chanyeol wears many hats, including those of a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and model. He is a Sagittarius born on November 27, 1992, and his birthplace is Seoul, South Korea. He is of Asian descent. Chanyeol’s musical interests were piqued after he watched “School of Rock” in elementary school. He learned how to play the drums and wanted to become a singer after he heard Yoo Young-jin’s ‘Unconditional Kismet.’ Chanyeol attended Hyundai High School and got admitted to a private acting institution at 16.

In February 2012, Chanyeol was introduced to the public as an EXO member. By April, the boy group debuted with their E.P. “Mama.” Chanyeol joined the cast of “Law of the Jungle” in October 2013. He composed an original soundtrack in 2015 for the show titled “Last Hunter.” In 2014, he became a regular cast member on “Roommate” but left the show in September due to scheduling conflicts. By 2015, he made his film debut with “Salut d’Amour.” Chanyeol made appearances in more films and television shows, including “EXO Next Door.” By May 2016, EXO released their third studio album, “Ex’Act.” In February 2017, reports claimed Chanyeol had registered himself as a music producer under the pseudonym “Loey,” and in April 2019, he released his first solo song ‘SSFW.’ In June of that year, Chanyeol and Sehun debuted as EXO’s second official sub-unit called EXO-SC. The duo’s first E.P., “What a Life,” dropped in July.

Chanyeol is a successful multi-talented superstar with so much entertainment to offer. His personal life isn’t public. However, Chanyeol is single and without kids. So, he shares his success with his family and friends.
