Snooki

Background

Nicole Elizabeth LaValle was born on November 23, 1987, and she was adopted and raised by Italian-American parents. She is known by her nickname, Snooki, and she is an American reality television personality. Snooki is best known for being a cast member of the infamous M.T.V. reality show “Jersey Shore.” Snooki has gained a lot of popularity since appearing in the show in 2009, leading to a lot of talk show appearances, web and television series participation and hosting, and a large social media following.

Snooki first appeared on M.T.V. in the show titled “Is She Going Out With Him?” Soon after, Snooki was cast on “Jersey Shore” and she has since been described as the breakout member of the cast. In 2012, she and a co-star, Jennifer Farley, starred in a spin-off titled “Snooki & Jwoww.” The show premiered in 2012 and lasted for four seasons until 2015. During that time, Snooki became pregnant and the show shifted its focus from hard partying to following Snooki in her pregnancy experience and the first few years of motherhood. Since 2015, Snooki and Farley have had a web series titled “Snooki & Jwoww: Moms With Attitude.” Snooki also competed in season 17 of “Dancing with the Stars” and she and her partner, Sasha Farber, came in at number eight on the show.

In addition to television fame, Snooki is also a successful businesswoman. She owns a childcare brand called MAWMA as well as Messy Mawma wines. She is also the owner of a fashion and lifestyle store, The Snooki Shop, which has locations in New York and New Jersey.
