Snoopy was born on October 7, 2020, in Lumberton, North Carolina. He may be named after a very famous fictional dog, but he’s a star in his own right. He gained fame on both TikTok and Instagram alongside his best friend and brother Calvin, and thousands love both of them. His zodiac sign is Scorpio, and he is a pit bull mix, with light brown and white fur, brown eyes, and droopy ears. His owner’s name is also unknown, but she manages the social media accounts that he shares with his canine brother Calvin.

His presence on social media began shortly after being adopted, on December 28, 2020, with the first video ever to be posted on his TikTok account, titled “Snoopy is making himself right at home,” which features him as a puppy playfully biting at his owner’s fingers. The following videos showed Snoopy behaving endearingly with cutesy music (often related to puppies) playing along with the video. The account quickly gained thousands of followers who thought Snoopy would give their For You Pages the right dose of adorableness. After this success, the puppy’s owner decided to expand and created an Instagram account for him, posting his first pic at the start of the following year.

In January 2021, Snoopy’s owner posted a video of him walking on a wooden bench and falling backward over the edge. The combination of his cuteness with the hilariousness of his unexpected fall made it the perfect puppy video, and soon other users were suggesting that Snoopy’s owner repost the video with fitting and funny TikTok sounds, like “oh no no no” and a part of Sarah McLachlan’s song ‘Angel.’ The most popular one, with the sound “That’s Just My Baby Doggy,” garnered over four million likes and over 25 million views over time. Shortly after the video was posted, the account reached over 100 thousand followers. Later that month, Snoopy’s owner adopted a German Shepherd she named Calvin, and the account started posting videos featuring them both and occasionally reposting Snoopy’s viral video with different sounds. In May of the same year, his owner launched a website with Snoopy & Calvin merch and endorsed dog products. Since then, the content of Snoopy continues to be posted on both TikTok and Instagram. They have partnered with and have been sponsored by different dog product companies.
