He is the son of Frederick and Nancy Haibon and has a sister named Shannon. After graduating high school, he attended the Community College of Rhode Island, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in history in 2009. The same year that he appeared in “The Bachelorette,” he participated in the second season of its spin-off “Bachelor in Paradise,” where he was in a love triangle with fellow contestants Clare Crawley and Ashley laconetti, going on a date with the former that included bungee jumping. He ended up leaving voluntarily in week five, but he returned to the show in 2016 for its next season. In it, he went on a date with contestant Jubilee Sharpe, but in the end, he again left voluntarily in week 5. During and after the show, fans closely followed his will-they-won’t-they relationship with laconetti. In 2018, they announced that they were finally dating, and that same year they got engaged. In 2019, Haibon and laconetti got married. In 2022, they welcomed their first son, named Dawson Demitri.
