Benjamin Wadsworth was born in Houston, U.S. He developed a flair for acting at a young age, and he was raised in an environment where his interest was encouraged. He was homeschooled through high school and took his first steps in acting at 13. Being homeschooled progressively aided his film and video work, and helped make room for creativity.

His first acting gig was a one-time role as Alex in an episode of the T.V. show “More Than Human.” The show aired in 2013. Shortly after, he landed a long-term role as Iggy in the comedy series “Dad vs. Lad.” He featured in a total of 26 episodes, and the show aired from 2014 to 2017. From 2013 to date, Wadsworth has featured in about 19 films, 11 of which are short films. Some of the titles include “This is Houston,” “Predators,” “Putting the Dog to Sleep,” “Joy Comes in the Morning,” “The Sleeping Dog,” and “Recess: Third Street.” Wadsworth was selected to star in the series “Let the Right One In,” but was disappointed. The series based on John Ajvide Lindqvist‘s novel was not approved by T.N.T. and was canceled before it started. Later that year, he had a special appearance in the final episode of “Teen Wolf,” titled “The Wolves of War.”

He became engaged to his girlfriend, actress Stella Maeve, in May 2019. The couple welcomed their daughter eight months later. They live in Los Angeles, California.
