Lauren Alaina has become a household name in the music industry. Her lovely personality and incredible voice have captured the hearts of millions of people across the globe. Though Alaina has had her ups and downs in her early life, she managed to stay focused and remain an inspiring role model to her humble fans around the world.

Alaina was born on November 8, 1994, in Roseville Georgia, United States of America. She is the daughter of Kristy and J.J Suddeth, her father Mr. J. J Suddeth works as a technician at Chattanooga Tennessee. Alaina began her music career when she sang at the kids’ talents stage at the Chattanooga Riverbend festival. The singer performed annually on that stage until she was 12 before she won the competition that allowed her to perform on the festival’s big stage. When she was 10 she traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the America Model and Talent Competition, she won the competition defeating a total number of 1,500 kids. Still, at 12, Alaina sang with the Georgia country gospel Association’s children’s group. She performed at local bars on Broadway, restaurants, church, and family holiday gatherings.

In 2009 she became the winner of the WinniSTAR youth Talents contest at Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement park. Alaina auditioned for “American Idol” season 10 in Nashville, Tennessee. She became one of the Idol Judges’ favorites. After the audition, Steven Tyler — who was a judge — made a clear statement “We found the one.” In her hometown in Roseville, Georgia, on May 14, 2011, it was proclaimed “Lauren Alaina Day.” Alaina sang ‘Before He Cheats’ with her Idol Carrie Underwood during the season finale. On May 25, 2011, she was declared the runner-up. As she grew musically she was signed into the Interscope Record, Mercury Nashville, and 19 Recordings. Alaina released her first single ‘Like My Mother Does.’ Soon after, the song entered the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart ranking number 49 and top 20 on the Hot 100 chart, and sold 121,000 copies in its first week. Alaina released her debut album “Wildflower” on October 11, 2011, which debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, and number two on the Billboard Top Country Album.
