Adam Patrick DeVine, famously known as Adam DeVine, was born in Waterloo, Iowa before moving to Los Angeles. He was born to Dennis and Penny DeVine and attended Millard South High School in Omaha, from which he graduated in 2002. He has one sibling, a sister by the name Brittani DeVine. He is married to Chloe Bridges and the couple seems very happy in their marriage.
DeVine’s interest in comedy started from a very young age and he was encouraged by one of his teachers to pursue his dream in the entertainment industry. At 17 years, he went to a comedy club and did his first standup comedy right there and it happened to be a success. The audience liked him so much! He started a sketch-comedy group with his friends Blake Anderson, Anders Holm, and Kyle Newacheck. They traveled to several places to perform and in 2008 released a music video, ‘Wizards Never Die,’ before releasing the album “Purple Magic” a year later.
DeVine played other small roles apart from the group. He featured in “Mama’s Boy” in 2007, and “Workaholics” in 2011. In 2012 he played a role in “Pitch Perfect” and its sequels, then featured in the comedy film “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,” in 2016 alongside Zac Efron. He co-wrote and played the lead role in “When We First Met,” as well as in “Isn’t it Romantic,” in 2019 alongside Rebel Wilson.
