Paul Kevin Jonas II was born on November 5, 1987, in Teaneck, New Jersey, and grew up in Wyckoff. His mother, Denise Marie, is a former sign language teacher and singer, and his father, Paul Jonas Sr., is a songwriter, musician, and former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church. After hearing the song ‘Please Be Mine,’ written and performed by the three Jonas brothers, Daylight/Columbia Records decided to sign them as a group with the name Jonas Brothers. The group’s first album, “It’s About Time,” came out in 2006; however, it was only a limited release with a little over 50,000 copies sold. As a result, the group was dropped by Columbia Records in 2007.

Soon after, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records, and the group’s self-titled second album, “Jonas Brothers,” was released on August 7, 2007, reaching number five on the Billboard Hot 200 chart in its first week. The brothers then guest-starred in an episode of “Hannah Montana,” which aired on Disney Channel. It broke cable records with 10.7 million views and became basic cable’s most-watched series telecast ever.

The Jonas Brothers’ third studio album, “A Little Bit Longer,” was released in the U.S. on August 12, 2008, peaking at number one on the Billboard 200. The success continued for a few years until the group decided to split. After parting ways with the Jonas Brothers in 2013, Kevin founded a real estate development and construction company called JonasWerner. He also works as the co-C.E.O. of The Blu Market company, which deals with communications and plans for social media influencers.
