Millions of people love Stuart Goddard for his wild costumes and beautiful music. He has a career that spans more than four decades, and he still has no difficulty selling out venues. He has been through several challenges, but he is still flourishing. Goddard was born in Marylebone, London, England, United Kingdom. Goddard’s parents divorced when he was seven years old, and his mother worked as a domestic cleaner. He attended Robinsfield Infants School, where he was placed under the tutelage of a teacher named Joanna. This teacher taught him that he could be creative. Next, he attended Barrow Hill Junior School, and finally, he attended Hornsey College of Art to study graphic design. He would later drop out of Hornsey to pursue music fully. He joined Bazooka Joe in 1975 and played the bass guitar for the group.

He got the idea of forming his band after watching the Sex Pistols play in 1975. He renamed himself Adam Ant and partnered with Paul Flanagan to create Adam and the Ants in 1977. The first song from their new band was ‘Deutscher Girls’ (1982), and it was initially released as the soundtrack for a movie titled “Jubilee” (1978). Goddard also got his first acting role in the film. ‘Deutscher Girls’ was released as a single in 1982. The band released their first album, “Dirk Wears White Sox,” in 1979, and they recorded “Kings of the Wild Frontier,” their second album, in 1980. The band released its final album in 1981 and disbanded in 1982. Goddard has had a solo career since then.
