Ginger Minj, born September 11, 1984, in Lake County, Florida, was given the name Joshua Allen Eads before becoming a drag queen. Minj has commented that as they were growing up, they could never know for sure if they were a boy or a girl. This changed when they discovered there were other ways to self-identify. Now Minj perceives themselves as genderfluid/non-binary, and they feel that they were able to identify correctly by being recognized in this way.

Minj’s first passion was the stage. For two consecutive years, they achieved first place in different competitions; however, this love for receiving people’s affection transmuted into new directions. Minj made their debut on the small screen in the show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in its seventh installment, but this was not the first time they put their theatrical skills to the test. Minj had already performed in several productions created by Clandestine Arts’ Avenue Q and more than 10 plays. Minj participated shortly after that in the celebrated reality competition series “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” which was enough to put them in the public’s hearts. Minj began working on several projects for the biggest streaming brand a couple of years later. “Dumplin’,” “Super Drags,” and “A.J. and the Queen” are some of the projects Minj has collaborated on with Netflix, and it doesn’t look like their work in the acting world is going to stop anytime soon. On the music front, we can listen to Minj’s first three albums, the last one was released in 2021 and produced by Producer Entertainment Group.
