Caleb Ronald McLaughlin is an American actor of the new generation. He’s a Libra, born on October 13, 2001. He grew up in Carmel, New York, and attended Kent Primary School. McLaughlin later attended George Fischer Middle School for a year before attending Seven Star School of Performing Arts in Brewster, New York for another year. After this, he studied at the Harlem School of the Arts under the former “Lion King” producer Aubrey Lynch.

McLaughlin’s first acting role as a child was in “Lost in the Stars,” the opera. He earned his first starring role as Young Simba on Broadway from 2012 to 2015. Some of his earlier roles include “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2013, “Unforgettable” in 2014, and “Forever” in 2014. In 2016, the actor received his breakthrough role as Lucas Sinclair in the Netflix series “Stranger Things.” He has appeared in 34 episodes of the show’s three seasons and the fourth season premiered on May 27, 2022. In 2018, McLaughlin won the N.A.A.C.P. Image Award for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Youth (Series, Special, Television Movie, or Limited Series)’ for his performance in “Stranger Things.” This series earned him more awards, including the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Award for ‘Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.’ In 2019, McLaughlin played Darius in “High Flying Bird,” and in 2020, he made his feature film debut in “Concrete Cowboy” where he starred as Cole alongside Idris Elba.
