Background

Joe Goldberg was born in Washington, D.C., and began sharing his photography from his travels through Instagram in June 2013. He then started posting vlog content through YouTube in October 2014. And shortly after that, he began working with different rappers and hip-hop stars.

He started his own business because he wanted to be his own boss. He trusted his judgment and execution. Joe Goldberg bought and sold shoes throughout middle and early high school, so he was familiar with doing business with people online, which prepared him to start a business around his passion.

Joe Goldberg is fascinated by life. He has always been into documenting his life because he cherishes moments and can’t imagine not ever being able to remember those times. He loves to take photos of his friends, family, and anybody he finds exciting, and most people interest him.

He says he wouldn’t have been able to chase his passion the way he has in life if it wasn’t for his mom, dad, and brother. His older brother Henry passed away when he was very young, but that didn’t tear the family apart; instead, it strengthened their bond. They would always encourage Goldberg to go out and take photos. They never held him back from an opportunity. They trusted him and his judgment, so they’d allow Goldberg to travel on his own at a very young age and photograph whatever he wanted.
