Background

Sarah Schauer is a celebrated social media personality and influencer. She has made a name for herself through her comic parodies, and fun and relatable lifestyle on her social media platforms. A Libran, she was born on October 5, 1993, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was raised with her brother Jake and sister Hannah. She enrolled in marketing and business analytics at Old Dominion University. After she graduated in 2016, she landed a job at TechArk Solutions as a social media specialist.

She rose to fame as an Instagram star through her Vine app that ran videos for six seconds. She began her Vine channel by “reVining” a video clip by “boysru1e” in October 2015. She uploaded her original vine a month after and later tagged Chris Melberger in the “RadioStationOnABudget” vine video. Her comic parodies had attracted 225,000 followers on the app by January 2016 when she was nominated as Viner of the Year.

After Vine shut down, she moved to TikTok where she equally had a huge following. She subsequently moved to YouTube, creating engaging content on several topics such as funny makeup tutorials. She started this YouTube channel in 2018, uploading her first video as a reaction video to her old vines. She then followed this up with comic video uploads about her life earning her more followers. Some of her most popular videos include “Complete Chaos with my Cousin” and “Reacting to Cursed Beauty Tiktoks.” Both videos featured Brittany Broski (also a content creator) in “Dying My Hair Like an E-Girl” and “Hottest Animated Characters, Quarantine Edition.” She has amassed more than 180,000 followers on her Instagram account and over 368,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel (which is self-titled). She boasts of more than 422,500 followers on Twitter and 1.3 million followers on Tiktok.
