Background

Jason Cid is an American YouTuber and social media personality born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S., to parents from the Dominican Republic. While not much is known about his younger years, we do know that Cid hardly attended school and did not attend college after high school. When he left high school, he worked at a call center while he started his YouTube career. In 2011, Cid began his career on YouTube, however, he did not initially gain fame. After numerous tries to make it big, when he hit 5,000 subscribers, he left his job in the call center.

Cid put a lot of effort into his career as a YouTuber, and it eventually paid off when he started gaining the attention of the video content-watching community. He is well-known for creating prank and challenge videos and vlogs, with his most-watched video being “Smash Or Pass But Face To Face Youtubers Edition!” which amassed over 7.5 million views to date — pretty impressive for a late bloomer on the YouTube scene!

Cid has also made a name for himself on other social media platforms, such as Instagram, where he has over one million followers. He continues to make a name for himself in the online community, and uploads fun videos to keep his fanbase entertained constantly. This young YouTuber has only just begun to scratch the surface of “internet celebrity” fame and has many fruitful years ahead of himself in the content game.
