Jett developed an interest in bikes and speed when he was young. He won the 2014 “65cc World Championship” in Belgium at age 11. Three years later, he participated in the 250 European Motocross Championship and won the final round. At 16, he campaigned for the 85 European Motocross Championship and the German ADAC series. During the summer of 2019, he used his three professional MX starts. Jett couldn’t wait to leave the amateur ranks and find his flow in the supercross and motocross. He did his best in the race, topping his elder brother Hunter to score his first S.X. podium at SLC5.
Jett Lawrence’s family relocated to the USA, where Jett raced for the Factory Connection’s amateur squad. He finally made his pro debut at the Unadilla round of AMA Pro Motocross. This allowed Jett to move up to Factory Connection’s pro team for 2020. His performance was outstanding in the AMA Pro Motocross. He won the final and took the “Rookie of the Year Honors.”
Jett made headlines after suffering a major crash at the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross. He first started sharing photos of himself riding on his Instagram page. After recovering, Jett returned to racing, moved to the Factory CRF250R with Team Honda HRC, and won the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
