David Spade

David Wayne Spade is an American Hollywood star, whose name is revered in the comedy and acting niches. He is a Cancer, born on July 22, 1964, in Birmingham, Michigan. His mother, Judith J., was a writer and magazine editor, while his father, Wayne M., was a sales rep. Spade and his family relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, when he turned four. After his parent’s divorce, Spade and his brothers were raised by their mother and lived in poverty. He attended Saguaro High School and Scottsdale Community College and later transferred to Arizona State University. However, Spade soon dropped out as he made a decent living from stand-up.

Spade was doing a stand-up set when he got discovered by a talent agent. He then appeared in “Police Academy 4” (1987). Spade joined “Saturday Night Live” in 1990. He started as a writer and then ascended to a cast member. He made sketches for the show, which became hits. In the 1995/1996 season, Spade received a segment called “Spade in America” on the show. After a successful string of sketches and segments, Spade left “Saturday Night Live” in 1996. He began focusing on film, and he starred with Chris Farley in “Tommy Boy” (1995) and “Sheep” (1996). In 2010, he starred alongside Adam Sandler in “Grown Ups” and the sequel “Grown Ups 2” (2013). The actor landed his first dramatic role in “Warning Shot” (2018).
