Background

Luke Bryan is a famous American country singer and songwriter who has a lot of hits under his belt. With over 75 million records sold worldwide, Bryan has achieved enviable success and an inspirational career. He was born on July 17, 1976. His birthplace is Leesburg, Georgia. Bryan grew up in a low-income household with his parents, Tommy and LeClaire Bryan. He is of English and Irish descent and his star sign is Cancer. When Bryan turned 19, he was about to move to Nashville. However, his plans got upset by the tragedy of his brother’s death. He took time off to enroll in Georgia Southern University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1999. He moved to Nashville in 2001.

Bryan joined a publishing house soon after he made it to Nashville. He contributed to Travis Tritt’s album “My Honky Tonk History” (2004) and signed a recording contract with Capitol Nashville. In January 2007, Bryan released his debut single, “All My Friends Say.” In August of the same year, the label released his debut studio album “I’ll Stay Me.” ‘We Rode in Trucks’ was the album’s second single, and it reached number 33 on the Country Music Charts, while ‘Country Man’ peaked at number 10. In March 2009, Bryan released his E.P., “Spring Break With All My Friends.” The Country singer released his second E.P., “Spring Break 2…Hangover Edition,” in March 2010. By March 2011, he released “Country Girl (Shake It for Me),” which peaked at number four on the Country Music Charts. His third studio album, “Tailgates & Tanlines” (2011), was a huge success. The album reached the number one spot on the Top Country Albums chart and the number two spot on Billboard 200.

Bryan went on to release seven more studio albums, with the most recent, “Born Here Live Here Die Here,” released in 2020. He is a highly awarded country artist and even won the Academy of Country Music’s Album of the Decade Award for “Crash My Party.” He has also been a judge on “American Idol,” alongside Lionel Richie and Katy Perry since 2017. Bryan has done it all. As an exceptional singer, songwriter, and entertainer, Bryan shares his success with his family. He is married to Caroline Boyer and has two sons with her.
