Background

Sofie Clarice Dossi was born in Cypress, California on June 21, 2001 to Abir and Mike Dossi. Zak, her elder brother, is her only sibling. Because she enjoyed gymnastics and dancing as a child, she eventually decided to become a contortionist.

Dossi debuted on May 31, 2016 in season 11 of N.B.C.’s reality competition series “America’s Got Talent.” All four judges gave her a thumbs up for her first act, which included eating an apple and shooting an arrow with her feet. However, it was her second performance of the night that earned her the golden buzzer, which entitled her to perform in the live shows. She finished the season as one of the top ten contestants. Dossi’s participation in the tournament marked the beginning of her social media career. She has appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” three times. She also appeared on “The Doctors,” “Good Mythical Morning” (2018), “Physics Girl” (2018), and “The Talent Show” (2018). Dossi has also been featured on billboards and has performed live around the world.

Dossi’s family has played an important role in her social media career. Her mother homeschools her so she can keep up with her hectic travel schedule. A lot of the equipment she utilizes was made by her father. Her elder brother Zak is a co-star, principal cameraman, editor, and co-producer. She made her acting debut in a Disney Channel comedy series called “K.C. Undercover” in 2016. She later starred in an episode of “Bizaardvark,” another Disney Channel comedy series, in 2017. In 2018, she played the role of Dani in Brat’s web series “Boss Cheer.”
