Born in Manhattan, New York, Laura Brooke Winter — better known by her stage name, Elle Winter — is a singer, songwriter, and actress. Raised alongside her older sister Lizzie, Winter graduated from The Trinity School on the Upper East Side, and is currently completing her tertiary education at the University of Pennsylvania. Winter has been involved in the entertainment industry since she was a young child when she was recruited by Disney. She joined Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing” and toured the country with the company, releasing two singles through the label Walt Disney Records; ‘Day Away’ and ‘Incredible’ were both released in 2012. Beyond the tour and singles, her family life was profiled on The Disney Channel, officially introducing the young star to the world.

Her acting debut occurred in 2015, playing Elle Fanning’s love interest in the movie “Three Generations.” Alongside Fanning, the film starred Susan Sarandon and Naomi Watts, and was about Fanning’s character’s transition from female to male. The next year, she starred in “Code Red,” a 15-minute comedy short about a girl who utilizes technology to fight menstruation stigma. In 2018, when she was just 19, Winter landed a role in the feature film “The After Party,” a musical comedy.
