Background

George Clooney has hundreds of millions of fans thanks to his good looks, excellent acting skills, and selfless personality. Clooney was born on May 6, 1961, in Lexington, Kentucky’s second-largest city. His parents are Nick Clooney and Nina Bruce Warren; his zodiac sign is Taurus, and he is of Irish, German, and English ancestry. His aunt Rosemary Clooney, a successful singer and actress, was a major influence on him as a child. Clooney’s first role was as an extra on the T.V. miniseries “Centennial” (1978), but his first major role was “ER” (not the medical series) in 1984.

However, he didn’t hit pay dirt until 1994, when he featured on another television series called “ER” (the medical series), and the series ran from 1994 to 1999. He earned multiple awards for the series. While on the set of “ER,” Clooney also worked on other movie projects, such as “From Dusk till Dawn”(1996), “Batman & Robin” (1997), and “Three Kings” (1999). After leaving “ER,” he teamed up with Soderbergh again to make “Ocean’s Eleven” in 2001 and the project was an outstanding success that prompted two sequels.

Clooney made his debut as a director with the “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” (2002). In 2005, he was involved in an accident on the set of “Syriana,” which resulted in a brain injury; his sacrifice was not in vain, as he won an Academy Award and an Oscar for his performance in “Syriana.” He has been involved in many other movies and has won numerous awards. With two other friends, he founded Casamigos, a tequila company, in 2013. They later sold the company in 2017 for a handsome profit.
