Background

Ayisha Diaz was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Although she has American citizenship, she has a mixed ethnicity of Latin American and African. Her parents came to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic before her birth. Diaz has two sisters, Ashley and Ashik, as well as a brother whose name is unknown. Little is known about her family and educational background, except that she grew up in her hometown in Nebraska.

Diaz has aspired to become a model since she was young. She first started to work in T.V. commercials before getting the opportunity to be featured in music videos. Some of her earliest music video appearances include Soulja Boy’s ‘Getting Money’ and ‘Back 2 the Crib’ by Juelz Santana and Chris Brown, both in 2009. Diaz’s later performances in music videos allowed her the opportunity to work with numerous stars, such as Lil Wayne, Drake, Lloyd Banks, Meek Mill, and Nicki Minaj. She was featured in several magazines, some of the most notable being her appearance as the cover model for the sixth-anniversary issue of the magazine “Straight Stuntin” Dynasty Series Edition in 2013 and “Smooth Magazine” issues 32 and 69 in January 2014 and 2017 respectively.

Between 2017 and 2018, Diaz was featured in a V.H.1 reality show “Love & Hip Hop: New York” alongside her sister, Ashley. She appeared in four episodes from November 6, 2017, to March 12, 2018. Concerning her personal life, Diaz was known to be in a romantic relationship with rapper Shad Moss. The couple first gained public attention around April 2014, but their relationship did not last long following Moss’ cheating allegations. Following their bad break-up, Diaz’ is rumored to have entered a new relationship, but nothing has been disclosed so far about the details.
