He was born Brandon King on April 10, 2007, in Gifford, Florida. His family later relocated to Miami in 2018. He is of African-American descent and is the youngest of three children. BSlime used to live the life of an average kid, playing video games in the summer and going to school. He wasn’t particularly interested in rapping but was encouraged by his elder brother, Y.N.W. Melly, to visit the studio and try out rapping.

In October 2018, during his vacation from middle school, he visited the New Era Recording Studio and got behind the mic. To everyone’s surprise, BSlime sounded great. He chose the stage name BSlime after joining the Y.N.W. recording label. BSlime released his first track, ‘Slime Emotions,’ in early 2019 and performed it at the Rolling Loud Music Festival. In November of the same year, he released “BABY GOAT,” his debut mixtape. BSlime’s music soon started getting millions of streams on Spotify. He released the singles ‘Freestyle LOL’ and ‘Just Wait’ in 2020.
