He is an American citizen of African-American descent who was born on March 17, 1959, in Atlanta, Georgia, to his mother, Queen Eubanks. Eubanks developed an interest in hairstyling at a young age and participated in numerous theatrical productions while in college. In 1989, he decided to pursue a career as a hairstylist. He opened his “Purple Door” salon, where he began taking professional photos of women in the corporate world.

His popularity skyrocketed after being cast as a member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The reality show premiered in 2008, but after three seasons, he left to pursue other opportunities. Eubanks is a married man who met his wife on the set of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” where they began dating and then got engaged in 2009. Since 2009, he has served as a host on “Living Life with Dwight Eubanks.” “The Truth” is one of his other television credits (2011).
